Punk Rock comedy if you will, with the aim of fostering an exciting and healthy comedic community. We greatly encourage the local community to get involved, there are open mic slots available and we’d love to see some locals try their hand at comedy.

Wanting to create an environment where comedians who are not on the bill are in attendance checking out new acts on the very cutting edge of comedy in Sydney and Australia, where comedians can stretch out and really let loose with their material, where fans of comedy and comedians can get together and really help maintain a vibrant, healthy comedy scene in Sydney.

The Study

Every Wednesday

The Study is Sydney’s opportunity to tap into the undiscovered talent this city has to offer. Each Wednesday we host acts ranging from singer songwriters, blues bands and funk outfits, to acoustic sets and world music – always looking to unearth the next big thing.  We provide an intimate setting in which to soak in the Sydney sounds, with drink and meal specials to keep you in the mood. The Study is a free event, meaning that every Wednesday can provide for an entertaining night out!
